Pride please

Just a few hours from the eleventh day of the eleventh month. Please wear your poppy with pride.

No glorification. Just pride.

I can’t imagine what it must have been like then, or like it is now. I can only cite my favourite Uncle Ronnie and what he went through during D-Day. I couldn’t have coped.

Just remember that it isn’t their fault. They just did/do what they were told to. That’s the way armies and politics work. And the way we don’t.

Nobody’s prefect. If you find any spelling mistakes or other errors in this post, please let me know by highlighting the text and pressing Ctrl+Enter.

    Thanks for calling by, Parrots.

It's always good when someone leaves a personal recommendation about books, or music.
