I came across the ur-inthenews.com site today where you fill in your details and it produces a spoof newspaper front or back page story of you winning the Premiership for your favourite team, or in my case quite literally by becoming Prime Minister. It generates a graphic rather than copyable text, so click on the thumbnail if you want to read it. Meanwhile, I’m packing up my perch for transfer to Number 10.

Drained

It’s just gone noon and I’m completely knackered, emotionally drained by the up and down drama of one of the greatest test matches I’ve ever seen. An England win by just two bloody runs. My hands are still shaking, Think I’ll go and have a lie down in a darkened room. UPDATE: Technically, Kasprowicz wasn’t out at the end because his hand wasn’t on the bat when the ball caught his glove, but that makes up for Pietersen being given out yesterday when the ball hadn’t touched his glove.
