Introducing Mr Parrot

For the record the, I’m Ian and I live in Stockport (which is in Chestershire for non-UK residents). I am the wrong side of 30, but then I’m also the wrong side of quite a few other numbers. I’ve spent more years than I care to remember working as a manager in the NHS, so I shall never go to heaven.

If you want to get to know me better, I am a non-smoking, tall and distinguished Scorpio with GSOH and own house and car. I enjoy dining out, dancing, the theatre and the great outdoors. I am also married to Pat which makes the previous sentence pointless, as well as being mostly untrue.

We have two children who have turned into young adults when I wasn’t looking. Bryony graduated from Sheffield Hallam Uni in 2009 and still lives there because she loves the place. She is taking a year out while she decided what to do next, but is hoping to teach. Max is still trying to work out what he wants to do with his life.
