Lost in Translation

Sir John Bourn on NHS finances:

“If we have another five years like the last, things will be getting quite difficult.

“We will have another five years of just managing to keep the show on the road before the whole carriage goes into the ditch. It won’t go into the ditch, it won’t be finished. But it will still be disappointing.”

Pardon? You mean it might go tits up, but then again it won’t?

Never mind, it's not as if the NHS is an essential service or anything is it?
