This is one of those risky blogging moments, the sort that can alienate the folk who are regular readers (well the two or three of you) and have been following this nonsense.

But I have a confession to make.

(Deep breath): My name is Shooting Parrots and I am a Catwoman-a-holic!

No doubt you’ll draw your own conclusions. She hit all the right buttons for me. Leatherware? Brunette? Mask? Red cape? Low-slung belt?

What does that say about me?

There was my perfect woman. Who turns out to be a lesbian. Sigh. Double sigh.

UPDATE: Thanks to Graeme for pointing out that I became so obsessed with the subject that I lost track of the detail. Batwoman, not Catwoman!

I wouldn’t be too concerned about the fact that she is a lesbian. If anything, isn’t that like a fantasy for many men?

The fact that she doesn’t exist and is rather one-dimensional would concern me more!

I suggest that you stick to your missus. Fantasies about catwomen can only end in tragedy. Could catwoman iron your shirts or cook your Sunday dinner or remind you of approaching appointments? No way! I say – Up the Missus! – Erm no double meaning intended.

Ah, but I’m not many men!

And I will stick to the Missus, Yorkie. Other than that I do the ironing, all other requirements taken care of!

Maybe a case of mistaken identity, but as I understand it it’s batwoman rather than catwoman who switched to the other side.

Don’t tell Mrs P, but it seems you might still have a chance with the more feline of the two.

Well spotted Graeme, I meant Batwoman not Catwoman. Obviously getting too carried away with the subject to pay attention to the detail!
