Dimwit of the Week

I had to think long and hard about this one, the reason being that it’s the subject of a ‘live’ industrial case and I might be accused of prejudicing the aforesaid. I might be guilty of that, but I’m trying my hardest not to. If I am vague, or if this post suddenly vanishes, that is the reason why.

  1. Someone in an organisation (not mine) decided to produce a spoof version of their email newsletter, one that is sent out to everyone as an attachment. It pretended to give the views of the CE and landed in my inbox yesterday.
  2. My first thought was that it was a bit of fun, if out of order.
  3. The person who did the deed had thought about it – anonymous email address etc.
  4. But had he or she thought about the document?

Nope to the last question. I clicked on properties and there was the author’s name. Written at work, presumably and since suspended. What a prat.
