Places like YouTube are great for sharing your videos with the world, but what in the world should you video? The reality is that unless you set up something specifically or are just plain lucky, most videos are pretty dull. You can see a good example below.

My compact camera has a video option and so I use it on occasion. This one was shot when I was out taking photos during the recent good weather and all it shows is an overflow for the canal in Hyde, panning up to the M67 motorway where traffic thunders by above.

And because I’ve got a YouTube account, that is where I have to post it, whether anyone wants to view it or not. Narcissistic tedium, or what?

Still, it is possible that it might be of historical significance some time in the future. I don’t think.
