Well that’s my name for them, the folk who leave comments without saying who they are. I can only assume that they do that in case you start stalking their comments pages. I promise you that that isn’t something I would do — it is a pretty tedious pastime.
I don’t delete anonymous comments unless I think they are either mindless or offensive to the reader rather than me, so those on Caught in the Flashlight remain, but I did want to reiterate both Anon’s comments and my reply. Sorry Al Anon but I am the blogger and you are the bloggee — I outrank you! Read more ›››
Is anyone else enthralled by Blogger Play? I clicked on it out of interest and found 40 minutes had passed as I watched the images upload. It’s live worldwide social commentary. (He said pretentiously.)
UPDATE: Sadly, Blogger Play is no more. Read more ›››
Well, it’s been a while since I put down my virtual blogging pen to concentrate on other things, like developing the new skills available in Titan Quest through the Immortal Throne expansion and by reading more books. Nothing heavy you understand – I’ve been belatedly ploughing my way through the fast- paced novels by Simon Kernick that I only recently stumbled upon, with the latest, Severed, in the Fathers’ Day gift wrap. Hopefully.
I’ve also spent time drifting the web finding interesting sites. I won’t bore you with the detail, but two worth a visit are The Riddle of Life which does make you think again about the Bible and LiteSum in which you type in what interests you and pulls up a summary from Wikipedia. It’s brilliantly simple, a throwback to the 1990s when blogs were nothing more than links to stuff that might be of mutual interest. Take a look at one of the early Tumblelogs like Anarchaia — nerdy but you get the gist. Read more ›››
It has been a while, but I’ve been tagged again by Jennyta. The idea is that I write five things about myself that I haven’t written about before. This isn’t easy. When you blather away the way I do it’s hard to keep track of what you’ve mentioned and what you haven’t.
But as they say on Just a Minute, I shall try to do so without repetition, hesitation, er.., repetition, deviation or catfish: Read more ›››
As an oft times blog reader, it’s amazing how many hit the buffers. There are generally three reasons for this:
Someone at work figures that you’re being unpleasant about them;
The stuff you write about is so interesting that you’re offered a book deal;
And finally, you just don’t have much to write about anymore.

Just do as Jenny suggests. Genius, sheer genius.
No posts for nearly a week. That must be record for me keeping my trap shut. All my spare time has been taken up with playing the recently released Titan Quest game, the follow-up to the excellent Diablo series and it has proved thoroughly addictive, not just for me but also my son, so when I do have some free time, I can’t get near the PC to log any posts for his hulking frame.
