Phoenix From the Ashes?

Seems I wasn’t the only one affected by the fire at Ashton Market Hall. I’ve had several conversation with people who were equally shocked. There’s almost a sense of bereavement. It’s a bit like losing an elderly relative who you haven’t visited for ages, but who you thought would always be there.

There has been brave talk about rebuilding it, but the latest pictures on the Tameside website don’t look too promising. Read more ›››

News that Ashton Market Hall was destroyed by fire last night has left me feeling pretty damned devastated.
