The weather has been beautiful here over the last couple of days. Warm for this time of year and clear blue, cloudless skies. There was nothing for it but to get out and about with my camera.
The photo left is my favourite. It is a duck mobile sculpture at Lower Wharf Street, by the canal in Ashton. It is at the spot where the last donkey stones were made, as mentioned in my L is for Lions post last week. These days it is a spot for mooring the Tameside Sea Cadets barge. Read more ›››
